Today I needed to add the selling experience team to the infrastructure access repo's BigQuery access variables so we can view and edit datasets in the GCP console. The generated files in the example PR were confusing at first, but after digging into the docs I found the GCP access tool and some older commits pointing to the template files I needed to update. I still need to verify this is the intended workflow with the platform team or someone familiar with the process.
I requested write access to the company GitHub org so I could create the PR, then opened one to grant BigQuery access to the selling experience team.
Investigations
I plan to look into the endpoints involved in the catalog sync on register bootup to list them and estimate how frequently they get called during offline mode. Once I have that, I can reach out to Stephen B. to compare findings and see if there is anything else to consider.

Journal
My OCD got the better of me and I spent time configuring iStat Menus for a cleaner, more minimal menu bar. I also submitted referrals for Yongmin and Luiz, though I am still waiting on Sylvie to send me her cover letter.
In HQ news, my mini rose has five full flowers and one more bud about to bloom. The spider mites have mostly been eradicated after two days of using Fidel's soapy spray, though I spotted a few eggs on the leaves today and did another spray to be safe over the weekend.
